Princeton Global knows that many people put off doing their Estate Plan. The Wall Street Journal highlighted in their recent article The Confusing Fallout of Dying Without a Will reinforced estate planning issues we see too often. 54% of Americans told Gallup they didn’t have a will in 2021. According to a recent Charles Schwab survey, even the wealthy put off estate planning—one in five Americans with investible assets of $1 million or more don’t have a will. At Princeton Global, we work hard to ensure our clients have and keep their estate documents current. We realize it is not easy or pleasant, but as this article shows, it is much better than taking the risk of the alternative of not having estate documents that state your wishes. Having something IS better than nothing and worth the effort for your loved ones who may be left behind with an untimely death. We hope this article will motivate those putting off their estate planning. If you have any questions, please reach out. We would love to discuss any questions or concerns.
