For the third year in a row, (2023 and 2024) we at Princeton Global wanted to share what is helping each of us get through the winter season. We would love to hear what is helping you too.

Paul Gerard – Babysitting for my grandchildren.  Below is a picture of 2 year old Max, 5 year old Sadie, and their mother (my daughter) Meghan.

The Photo caption is:

Max: Oh no! I lost my Spidey Mask!

Sadie: Um Max, it’s on your head

Brett Shaver – I’m adding some warm-weather trips to the calendar to get through the cold January and February in New Jersey. This year, I have a golf trip with friends to Cabot Citrus Farms, a family spring break in Naples, FL, to visit my parents, and a trip to Scottsdale for the Schwab Advantage conference—plus some fun at the Arizona Cactus League spring training!

Nyda Bannerman – Cheering on the EAGLES during the 2024 season and watching them destroy the KC Chiefs at Super Bowl 59!

Erika Tucker – Lots of family gatherings, especially my younger sister’s upcoming wedding this month and regular exercise 2-3x a week.

Joe Schreiner – The joy from the Eagles victory in Super Bowl 59 will carry me through the rest of the cold winter months. I am hopeful that in the spring the Phillies will begin their season following a similar path to the Eagles.

Dan Hanley – Family time is my favorite way to stay warm and happy in the winter!

Matt Gelfand – This winter has been way too cold for sailing, so I’ve been an armchair sailor this season, beefing up and practicing my coastal navigation skills, and looking forward to warmer weather.

Mike Marsh – There was a knock at my door. Finally, post 10 years and a fresh 8 inches of snow, a group of boys came to shovel. After a closer look, they were 5 girls (no boys) and did an amazing job! I now feel confident with the future leaders of our USA – Girl Power! Yes, I tipped very well👏

Richard Moseley – Spending quality Grandparent time with this little fella!

Joel Heymsfeld – I look forward to Major League Baseball Opening Day at the end of March.

Rob Spadaford – In October 2024, my wife and I welcomed a beautiful son, Joseph “Joey” Spadaford V— our precious little drooler. He is our third boy, following his brothers, Brison and Isa. His nursery is designed like The Shire from The Lord of the Rings—because every newborn needs a second breakfast, obviously.

Now that he graciously allows me six hours of sleep, we’ve really bonded, and I’m starting to remember why I love babies.

Tara Bansal – Cozying up to a good book is always what gets me through this Winter season. Luckily, I have read several books that I have loved and enjoyed.

Jim Kilcommons – Memories of sun and a lot of fun with family and friends, (cue Beach Boys “Kokomo”, we got their fast and took it slow) Dominican Republic vacation 2024.  Special nights like Kathy and I celebrating a friend’s daughter’s wedding.

Fran Keene – It is very nice this winter to get snow multiple times already. Thank goodness that we have only gotten inches of snow each time and not feet of snow which has been much easier to shovel, and the streets can be cleaned quickly also. At this point in the season, I expect to see much more snow before spring arrives next month.
